Just a couple of skiing sessions offered this week, as per the yet again newly revised official schedule (https://assiniboineparkjackrabbits.wordpress.com/assiniboine-park-jackrabbits-2013-2014-schedule):
- Thursday, 27 March 2014: “Fast Rabbits Thursday 14”. Both Coach Ihor’s and Coach Rob’s groups will meet in the clubhouse at 18:45 (not 18:30!). Technique likely to be free technique (skate). High-end videographer to be onsite making a promotional video for the Windsor Park Nordic Centre. More kids the better! Latest weather forecast predicting a -9 degrees Celsius air temperature with a -16 windchill at ski time.
- Sunday, 30 March 2014: “Spring Break Sunday (19)” sees the venue moved from Assiniboine Park to Windsor Park Nordic Centre. Rationale for location change is that this is the last day the Windsor Park Nordic Centre clubhouse will be open for the 2013-2014 winter (http://www.ccsam.ca/windsor-park-open-another-week). Meet at 13:30 on the snow within 50 metres of the clubhouse. Latest weather forecast predicting a -1 degree Celsius air temperature with a -6 windchill at ski time.
